GharSaathi ("we", "us", "our") connects families in Islamabad and Rawalpindi with verified domestic staff, including maids, cooks, drivers, nannies, guards, and household helpers. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and how we protect it.

1. Information We Collect

From families requesting staff:

Name, phone number, and WhatsApp contact details
General location or sector (e.g. F-6, DHA) for matching purposes
Details about the staffing request (service type, schedule, household needs)

From domestic staff in our network:

Name, CNIC (national identity card) number, and photograph for identity verification
Phone number and contact details
Work history and references, where provided
Employment/placement history with GharSaathi

2. How We Use This Information

To verify the identity of domestic staff before introducing them to a family (CNIC verification)
To match staff to family requests based on location, service type, and availability
To communicate with families and staff via phone or WhatsApp regarding placements
To maintain records of past and current placements for service quality and dispute resolution

3. How We Share Information

CNIC verification confirms identity, but we do not publish or share a staff member's CNIC number or ID photo with the family; only their verified status is shared.
We do not sell or rent personal information to third parties.
We may share information with law enforcement if legally required.

4. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide our matching service and maintain placement records, and may retain basic contact information after a placement ends in case of future inquiries. You can request deletion of your information by contacting us (see Section 7).

5. Security

We take reasonable steps to protect personal information, including CNIC details, from unauthorized access. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Cookies and Analytics

Our website uses Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our site. This may involve cookies that collect anonymized usage data. You can disable cookies through your browser settings.
